​Moohaki Charolais was established in 1992 with stud females purchased from Alan and Betty Thompson, Katalpa Charolais Penola South Australia.

Moohaki Charolais criterium is a smooth, structually correct animal, with balance, eye appeal and plenty of carcase. 

Moohaki Charolais use AI as a means for genetic diversification, only keeping cow breeding families that perform under Australias vast conditions.

Moohaki Charolais is based at Mt Pleasant in the Barossa Valley of South Australia. Moohaki Charolais are run alongside Imperial Suffolk and Romney Sheep owned by Imperial Partnership Josh Wiltshire and Sam Edwards.
