​Moohaki Charolais was established in 1992 with stud females purchased from Alan and Betty Thompson, Katalpa Charolais Penola South Australia.

Moohaki Charolais criterium is a smooth, structually correct animal, with balance, eye appeal and plenty of carcase. 

Moohaki Charolais use AI as a means for genetic diversification, only keeping cow breeding families that perform under Australias vast conditions.
